Find Out More

Inayat Khan was the Sufi mystic who brought the first direct transmission of Sufi wisdom to the West from India in the early 1900s.

Even before he came to the West with his message, Inayat Khan focused on what was universal in Sufism, making it more accessible to non-muslims. All of his lectures were transcribed and published and provide a way study his message to anyone that feels drawn to his teaching. Inayat Khan was really ahead of his time! He was inclusive of race and gender when cultural norms were much more restrictive.

The foundation of his message is that everyone should be accepted regardless of their religious creed or beliefs. There's a practical dimension to his teaching — part of his message is that spirituality shouldn't be separate from our day to day lives. He was a dedicated and fearless seeker of the Truth, unafraid to carve out his own path and be of service regardless of the opposition he faced.

It's Inayat Khan's commitment to truth and the process of evolution that we focus on in Amber Light International. We invite you to join us to find out more if you're curious!
